The RFID reading method is related to the type of tag. There are two types of electronic tags, one is active, that is, it has its own power supply, and the other is passive, which does not have its own power supply and is powered by an external power supply. Active tags will actively send radio frequency models, while passive electronic tags need to generate induced current through the radio frequency signal emitted by the reader.
The reading method of RFID readers is mainly through electromagnetic coupling reaction. The energy obtained by induced current sends the data stored in the tag to the reader, and then the reader reads and decodes it, submits it to the server for data processing and feeds back the results to the tag for re-storage. With the rise of mobile payment and near-field communication technology, NFC RFID readers, as short-range wireless identification technology, have also been widely used in commercial solutions such as mobile payment, one-card pass, second-generation ID card, access control and attendance, which has greatly improved the research and development accumulation of RFID technology and accelerated the process of Internet of Things.
