The access control NFC RFID card reader is an identification medium device in the access control system. It can read the information in the access control card and transmit the information to the access control controller to control the opening and closing of the door.
In addition, the access control NFC RFID card reader can also realize the following functions:
Authorization management: Authorization management of cardholders is performed by setting user card swiping permissions, validity period or number of uses, etc.
Alarm function: If the cardholder is not authorized or the cardholder has exceeded the validity period, the access control system will issue an alarm.
Recording function: The access control system can record the cardholder's entry and exit time and frequency for management and query.
The frequency of the NFC RFID access control reader is generally 13.56MHz, and usually includes components such as induction coils, induction chips, antennas, and LED indicators. When the induction card enters the electromagnetic wave radiation range of the NFC RFID card reader, it will trigger the coil on the induction card, generate current and trigger the antenna on the induction card to send a signal to the card reader. The signal carries the card information. The NFC RFID card reader converts the level signal into a digital serial number and transmits it to the local controller. The local controller uploads the information to the upper controller. Finally, it is uploaded to the access control server. The access control server compares the tag data with the information in the database and controls the opening/closing of the access control.
