Business Trip To Russia, Andea Electronics visited ID Forum

Chinese like saying “the year’s plan start with spring”. Andea Electronics keep on hard working without non stop in the spring. After PHOENIX RFID Journal Live in April, Andea Electronics starts another business trip to Russia. Our team have some new insight into RFID technology in Moscow and St. Petersburg located libraries this time.


 

After arriving in Moscow for a simple rest, we went to visit our important customers in Moscow. We were warmly welcomed and our customers exchanged a lot of information about RFID technology in Russian libraries with us. They also took us to visit the local community libraries.


 

After talking with customers and local library staffs, we know RFID technology in Russian libraries with lower proportion. Due to cost, recognition rate, stability and other constraints, there are different opinions on the large-scale using RFID technology at present. RFID technology is in the stage of universal education in Russia, but the prospects are quite good.


 

We also introduce other applications of RFID technology to our customers, and discuss the possibility of future cooperation.


 

We participated in the Russian RFID Forum ID Forum, through which we have a deeper understanding of the Russian RFID market. Russia announced that from 2018, all footwear entering Russia must be equipped with RFID tags. As the Russian government pay more and more attention to the RFID technology, the future of the Russian RFID market is expected.
 

During our visit to Moscow, we also visited the Russian National Library and the Russian National Children's Library.
 

The Russian National Library is the largest library in Europe. Its total collection is second only to that of the Library of Congress in the United States, ranking second in the world. The whole library has a solemn momentum, and the statues on the square add some solemnity to the library.

Ten days business trip in Russia, we not only have a deeper understanding of the local Russian RFID market, but also establish a good relationship with the local RFID companies. In addition, I saw the legendary Red Square, the oldest square in Moscow, which witnessed the occurrence of many major historical events. Wonderful trip!
