The operating frequency of UHF readers and writers is generally between 860MHz and 960MHz, and has the advantages of long-distance reading and group reading. It mainly uses the principle of electromagnetic reflection, that is, the reader transmits energy and exchanges data with the tag through electromagnetic waves. The UHF RFID reader is mainly responsible for communication with tags. The reader emits radio frequency signals, activates nearby tags, and receives data returned by the tags. The reader's antenna achieves wireless communication with the tag by sending and receiving radio frequency signals. Readers and writers can interact with other devices (such as computers) through interfaces to read and write tag data.
The communication process of UHF RFID can be divided into two modes: active mode and passive mode. In passive mode, the reader is generally in standby mode. The reader is activated by issuing work instructions to transmit radio frequency signals.
